Our researchers Nora Kungl and Kristijan Fidanovski participated at the European Conference on Tobacco or Health (ECToH) from May 20-22 in Milan with a poster presentation on the demand elasticities of cigarette consumption and a paper presentation on the Marlboro indices of cigarette affordability.

On March 18 and 19, wiiw-HEPA attended closed-door consultations in Brussels on the proposed revisions to the Tobacco Tax Directive. The event, organized by the Smokefree Partnership for dozens of policymakers and researchers, included presentations from wiiw-HEPA’s Bulgarian and Polish grantees.
